Veranoa has taught hundreds of people to weave, in person, over the course of 35 years and has taught thousands online since 2015.

Are there any material or equipment costs?
No, as long as you have a good pair of scissors, an old kitchen knife and a sharp knife such as a stanley knife.
Do I need to have harakeke - NZ Flax?
No. There are many recyclable materials you can use or other plant leaves you can try weaving with.
Do I have to be online at a certain time each day?
No, you can view the content in our virtual classrom/studio 247 - whenever it suits you.
Do I have to be Māori to join?
No. All who are respectful of our weaving traditons and terms of use are welcome to join.
